The Hues

As part of my studio assignment during my diploma, I was tasked with a project that was unique and thought provoking. The brief was to walk along a particular stretch in Singapore assigned by the lecturers and record our findings on that walk. We then had to create a device to collect data that will allow us to record the experience we went through. This data is to aid us into creating an experiential space to present our findings and experience. My walk was situated across fort canning and as someone with color deficiency, I decided to use it to my strengths and based my project on color and how it perceived it during my walk. The final space was situated at the national gallery where colored swirls would guide people to the main hall and they would be able to interact with the colors and even purchase merchandise. The experience blends my experience during the walk and my love for fashion.
